Greenpeace
For the Rautenstrauch-Joest Museum in Cologne, we developed a campaign highlighting how indigenous cultures, which have lived in harmony with nature for centuries, are now forced to bear the consequences of climate change caused by industrialized societies.
The visual concept was built around a striking juxtaposition: tribal masks reimagined with integrated gas mask features as if curated from a dystopian future where these cultures had to adapt their sacred traditions to environmental devastation.
To bring this idea to life, we leveraged generative AI tools to create highly detailed, evocative imagery, eliminating the need for costly physical production. This allowed us to iterate on multiple designs quickly, refining the balance between authenticity and provocation. At the same time, AI-assisted brainstorming helped us develop a compelling narrative, ensuring an equally strong conceptual framework supported the visual message.
The campaign amplified the urgency of climate injustice and showcased how AI can be used as a creative force in cultural and social advocacy. By blending technology, storytelling, and design, White Rabbit Hole transformed a complex issue into a visually and intellectually engaging experience, making it more accessible to a broader audience.
